SSC CPO exam is conducted in three levels, including paper 1, paper 2 and medical test as well. Paper-1 section of SSC CPO Exam will have 4 major sections including General Reasoning, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension.

There is a negative marking for every wrong attempt in Tier 1, 0.5 marks will be deducted on every wrong answer. The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes. Paper-2 exam will have 200 marks English Comprehensive Test, in addition to these two papers, there will be a physical test as well that is conducted in order to test the stamina of the candidates.

Since SSC CPO Examination will consist of Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME), so all the students appearing in the exam have to clear all the stages to get hired in Delhi Police.

SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria

  • You need to be a graduate in any discipline from an authorized University or any equivalent degree recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • The male candidates should have a valid Driving License (D/L) for LMV (Car & Motorcycle) as on the date fixed for PET (Physical Endurance and Standard Tests), otherwise, you will not be allowed to undergo PET.
  • Age Limit for SSC CPO is 20 years which is the minimum age limit and maximum age limit is 25 years as on 01.08.2018.
